This is the starting post of this blog. If you are new, you can look into my previous post for a description on this blog. No matter if you not read.

So, this post is about music. How music connects to the Internet (This blog is about Internet :p).  So let’s go on.

Music has a long history. I’m not good in history by the way. In ancient time, when a baby cries. His/her mom try to comfort him/her. So they start to tell songs and saw that the baby is going okay after that. So music is not an unfamiliar thing to us. Ears are already set for that. But when time goes on a lot of music kinds were grown. They are called music genres. The genres today most of the people listen are Hip hop, Rap, RnB, House, Disco, Trance, Folk, Rock etc. A huge list is there.  So the music itself has grown up to a big tree.

I said early that i’m not so much on history. Let’s talk about the music in Internet.

I can imagine how music producers and singers sold their albums back in time. It was really hard you see. Today Internet has become the market place for them. Many websites has born to sell their music.  For an example Itunes beatport  can be named.  You can buy songs by previewing them via this options.

Music it self is not all rely on CD’s. As in internet music there are many options. Such as online radio stations, podcasts, albums etc. I will talk about them separately near future.

You can find your favorites of music in internet. Considering my self, i’m so much into club music like house and techno. So i can find many websites relating to my criteria.

it’s not all about getting music. while you are listening to some radio stuff or podcast you hear a music that touches your heart. You want it badly but no where to find it because you don’t know even the name of that track. So what are the options now for you? I don’t know about you but i will not call the radio station for asking the name of that track. Definitely not. You can find that sound by some websites like”midomi.com” or “soundhound.com”. there is a search by sound option available there. Now the smartphones also have an app for that. You can get it from the app store. Only thing you have to do is record that audio an upload it to the website or sing/ hum your song (this fails most time)

There are downloading options for the songs too. But there are not original. If you want to listen to music that have uploaded by someone else search through Google any of the song name and add another option like mp3juices / zippy / hulkshare etc. You will find them and you can listen to them online.
